Terms of Service
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms apply when you use QLD Allied Jobs, a job board for allied health roles in Queensland. Qld Allied Jobs is the trading name of a sole trader based in Queensland, Australia. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Qld Allied Jobs. By browsing the site, signing up for job alerts or posting an ad, you agree to these terms. If you have a question about them, email tenaka@mail.grokbot.com.
What we do
- We publish job ads for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and psychology roles in Queensland, and email a weekly round-up of new ads to people who ask for it.
- We are not an employer, recruitment agency or labour hire provider. We do not shortlist, interview or place candidates.
- We do not receive job applications. Each ad gives the employer’s own application link or email address, and applications go straight to the employer.
For job seekers
- Browsing and job alerts are free.
- Ads are written by employers. We review free promo ads before they go live and remove ads that break these terms, but we cannot check every detail of every ad. Confirm the role, pay and registration requirements with the employer before you accept an offer.
- When you apply, you deal with the employer directly, and their privacy practices apply to what you send them.
For advertisers
Who can post
You can advertise a genuine, current vacancy for a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech pathologist or psychologist working in Queensland, including remote, outreach and telehealth roles serving Queensland. You must be the employer, or be authorised to advertise for them.
What an ad must not do
- be false, misleading or deceptive, including about pay, location, hours or who the employer is (Australian Consumer Law, section 18);
- discriminate unlawfully, for example because of sex, age, race, disability, pregnancy or family responsibilities, under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld) and Commonwealth anti-discrimination laws;
- offer pay or conditions below the minimums that apply under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), a modern award or an enterprise agreement;
- ask applicants to pay anything to apply or to be considered;
- advertise something other than a job, such as a course, a franchise or a referral scheme;
- include material you do not have the right to publish.
You are responsible for the content of your ad, and for how you handle the applications you receive, including under privacy law.
Price and payment
- A standard ad costs $129 incl. GST and runs for 30 days from the moment it goes live. Prices are in Australian dollars. You pay the price shown when you submit the ad; a later price change does not affect it.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- A paid ad goes live as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. Ads do not renew, and we never charge you again unless you start a new checkout.
- Your private status page shows a receipt for what you paid.
Promo codes
A free first-post code covers one ad per employer email address. A person reviews every promo ad before it goes live, and its 30 days start when it is published. We may decline a promo ad that does not meet these terms, and we may end a promotion at any time without affecting ads already published.
Moderation and removal
We may remove an ad that breaks these terms or the law, or that we reasonably believe is not a genuine vacancy. Removal is permanent. If we reject a paid ad in moderation, you get a full refund under our Refund Policy. We may fix obvious formatting problems, but we will not change the substance of an ad without asking you.
Using your ad
You keep ownership of your ad. You allow us to publish it on the site, include it in job alert emails, and describe it to search engines as structured job data while it is live.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those guarantees or any other right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our liability
Where you buy an ad for business purposes, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again, unless that would not be fair or reasonable (Australian Consumer Law, section 64A).
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, we are not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers or job seekers, for the content of ads written by employers, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as an outage at our hosting or payment providers.
Using the site fairly
Do not use the site to send spam, scrape it in a way that slows it down for others, try to get into the admin area, or interfere with its security.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. An ad is covered by the version in place when it was submitted. The date of the last change is at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
